MY TOUR

This is what just under $1m looks like in Waynesboro. Not pictured - over 10 acres of peaceful land. I had the joy of showing this special place recently and snagged a few videos to share along the way ❣️

Built in 1803, “Braemoor” has undergone extensive additions and renovations over the years. This Virginia farmhouse is so full of character and charm.

Across the street from the South River with mountain views, space inside and out feels endless here. Characteristic with old homes, one room rolls into the next, hallways a rarity. Each room you find yourself in an even nicer surprise than the last.

Extra wide plank wood floors, wavy glass windows, brick rich in texture, and intricately detailed crown molding make up the textures of Braemoor. Did I mention the retro house speaker / intercom system? A taste of all eras!

The kitchen, clearly *not* original to 1803 was designed with modern living in mind. My favorite part - the full wall of windows and sliding glass doors that open up to a screened in patio and so much glorious natural light.

Beautiful spaces for gardens, a gathering place around a fire on the brick patio, and a super cute gazebo by the backyard pond tell the story of a house well-loved and where time spent together was considered.

This listing has been on and off the market for a little while, with the most recent change reducing the number of acreage and dropping the price significantly.

What do you think - is this your chance to jump in?

THE AREA

S Oak Ln is centrally located - easily accessed from convenient Lyndhurst Rd or S Delphine Ave in Waynesboro.

The best news? You are right across the road from the South River, and Coyner Springs park is practically your neighbor. Less than 5 minutes to shopping with Target, Aldi, etc.

From an investment perspective, this property will be one of the oldest in the area as new development comes in nearby with Northrop Grumman’s new headquarters, expected to bring 300 jobs to Waynesboro and create an increased demand for housing in our local market.

Is this your sign to invest in a historic Waynesboro property before values rise?
